MES Campaign: “Don’t Burn Your Life Away!”

Smoking in bed is one of the leading causes of fires in the Republic of Belarus. To prevent fires and fatalities resulting from careless handling of fire while smoking, a nationwide informational and awareness campaign titled “Don’t Burn Your Life Away!” will be held from November 4 to 27.

Events will take place in dormitories, educational institutions, bus stations, and shopping facilities. Employees of the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES) will conduct interactive discussions with participants and carry out fire prevention activities in residential areas.

Participants will be able to take part in quizzes, contests, interactive zones, and dialogues, allowing everyone to reinforce their knowledge of life safety practices.
